QMD – Laser Helios

qmd® helios
The top of the qmd® range: therapeutic laser 808 + 1064 + 1120nm 24W, complete with trolley and standard kit.
The three wavelenghts are individually controllable.
Thus, for example, in an analgesic treatment, a wavelength issues a superpulsed stimulus (most of the laser devices make only this!); the second wavelength issues, simultaneously, a pulsed stimulus of the same frequency of the molecule / target mediator; and the third issues a scanning of the frequencies to hit at the same time all mediators and molecules marginally involved.
In this way, we are able to treat pain with triple simultaneous actions.
Another special feature of this device is the wavelength 1120nm, which acts primarily on serotonin, on dopamine (pain neurotransmitter) and on P substance (muscles).qmd® helios

HPC THERAPY (High Performance Combination)

An in-depth study of the scientific bibliography and years of experience have enabled our researchers to develop HPC therapy, known as “high performance combination.” This therapy has shown particularly good effects on inflamed tissues by combining laser, cryo, and thermotherapy.

How HPC Therapy Works

  1. Acute Phase:

    • Initial Reduction of Edema: This step improves the effect of the laser treatment.
    • Cryotherapy Application: Applied at the end to further enhance the analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.
  2. Chronic Phase:

    • Increase in Microcirculation: Required to improve the chronic condition.
    • Thermotherapy Application: Applied at the end to support increased microcirculation.

Benefits of HPC Therapy

  • Laser Therapy: Enhances tissue repair and reduces inflammation.
  • Cryotherapy: Provides analgesic effects and reduces inflammation.
  • Thermotherapy: Increases blood flow and aids in the healing of chronic conditions.

By leveraging the combined effects of laser, cryo, and thermotherapy, HPC therapy effectively treats inflamed tissues, providing significant relief in both acute and chronic phases.

QMD – Cryo Thermal

CRYO THERAPY AND THERMO THERAPY

With the qmd® cryo-thermal device, it is possible to generate the following effects:

  • Cryo Effect (Hypothermia): From -15° C to +15° C
  • Thermal Effect (Hyperthermia): From +30° C to +45° C
  • Thermal Shock: The temperature drops by 30° C in a short time
  • Contrast Therapy®: Application of alternating hot and cold cycles

Pathologies Treatable with Thermal Shock:

  • Rheumatoid arthritis and inflammatory diseases in general
  • Back pain
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Muscle problems
  • Acute injuries
  • Post-operative convalescence

Exploiting the effects of heat and cold, it is possible to treat many other pathologies.
